Chris Gardner is an American businessman, stockbroker, investor, MOTIVATIONAL speaker and Philanthropist.
But, he was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth and did not have an easy life to become what he is now.
The movie “The Pursuit of Happyness” depicts about Chris Gardner’s struggles in life from being a homeless salesman, raising his toddler son from a broken marriage, financially bankrupt and then becoming an entrepreneur, between the two lives he lived, he just knew this – “Never give up”.
Few favorite quotes from the movie which I love:-
“Don’t ever let someone tell you that you can’t do something. Not even me. You got a dream, you gotta protect it. When people can’t do something themselves, they’re gonna tell you that you can’t do it. You want something. Go get it!”
“The world is your oyster. It’s up to you to find the pearls.”
“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”
Chris Gardner and many more had this attitude of never giving up till the chance of getting what they struggled for. How about you?
I do not think you want to give up. I know, how badly you need this motivation since you are still reading this.
